The people in this shop are very pleasant, and helpful. I visit there when I am able and it is my first choice for some of my outdoor sporting needs. The location is in the opposite direction of my normal day to day travel, but when funds are available and I am looking to make a purchase, I go out of my way to visit Genies. The people there is why I return. I am not overly concerned about the status of their inventory, if they have what i am looking to purchase, great. If not, I don't consider the trip a waste of time, just a chance to see what else they may have.

This shop is hands down one of the best around! I've been doing business with them forever, and Jim is always fair. If you're in Muskegon and looking to sell any firearms, don't waste your time with a certain other shop/range that will rip you off, go to Jim to get fair prices!

Stopped in today to inquire about future firearm transfers. Cool place, and i felt very welcome. Talked to Brian, nice guy and he answered all my questions. I will be doing future business here for sure. Update: Just completed my 3rd or 4th transfer here, and they couldn't be better. Everyone is really nice and they are very quick. They have a decent stock of firearms now as well. Nice to have a place that makes transfers feel welcome! Thanks! Update:Another fantastic experience today. What a great team of people. Thanks Genies! Can't leave 5 reviews, wish I could!

By far my most favorite locally owned gun shop. The place is always busy and you may have to wait a little. They have great pricing and a great selection of older stuff coming in regularly. I am making my 3rd gun purchase on layaway at this time and will continue to visit them when I'm in town.

The staff is very friendly And they have a great variety of things. Their gun department has many new guns and many very well maintained. Prices are very expectable.

I was searching the internet for a specific left handed rifle that was out of stock everywhere and found it on Genie’s website. I took a chance and purchased it but didn’t get a confirmation email so I called them the next day. Well when I called they knew exactly who I was. I learned they are a small family owned sporting goods business that just launched their website and I was their first customer to purchase a gun through it. As with most software there were some bugs but they kept me up to date on the status of my order, helped get my ffl dealer’s info to the distributer and made sure everything was as I expected. I gotta say the level of customer service they provided is so raw these days. I promise you I will buy more from them in the future and will proudly supports a family owned business like them who treats their customers so well! Do not hesitate to purchase from them.
